Where is your place?

Surrounded on all sides by other farms, the only way in is by a field road along the property line of two of them. These 84 acres have been in my family for over 120 years.

I have never lived on this land, but my ancestors have. I may never be a permanent resident of this land, but somehow I am drawn to it.

With a spring of fresh water, nice open fields, and insulated at the perimeters by dense forest, I always find the breathing good here. Peace and quiet live here along with the deer, rabbits, coyotes, and other wildlife.
In this place in the world, I sense a mysterious and yet obvious connection. Here, the world seems to make sense.

Do you have such a place? Maybe yours is busy and bustling with people and sounds. Maybe yours is less a place and more of a group of people. Perhaps your place is a vibrant memory that has rarely been visited.
But, maybe it is an actual place. And for some reason or some score of reasons, that place has power in your life.

Take a moment to ponder the power of place in your world.

Worth Repeating

Buy land. They’re not making any more of it.
