Somewhere on the way from here to there, you may begin to question why you left. Or, you may wonder where you were going and why you thought it was such a good idea in the first place. Will it really be worth it?

For instance, is this diet really worth it? Or, maybe if I skip a few workouts, it won’t really matter.

Perhaps, you went to a seminar and set out on the journey to a positive net worth and complete debt elimination. But, after knocking out a few smaller debts and saving a small amount, your tendency to overspend reemerges and your vision of the land of debt free living becomes blurry.

Maybe you’re experiencing the “land between” related to a career move, business startup, caregiving scenario, or spiritual quest. You could be experiencing this quandary as a part of a group or organization.

Good news! You’re completely normal!

You can identify with most everyone who has ever lived and set out on any type of journey, literal or figurative. Specifically, you can identify with the explorers of the new world, the Israelites leaving slavery for the promised land, American frontier families crossing the Rocky Mountains, and millions of people who have relapsed on their quests to become debt free!

But, not everyone turns back every time.

Even though the questions arise, the vision becomes blurry, and failure occurs, there is still worth it!

Good health and fitness, debt free living, spiritual growth, new eras for organizations, new ventures…yes, these are usually worth it! Next week, I’ll share some ideas on remembering why you’re going there.
