Do you have any friends who are like free entertainment?
Mike is one of those friends for me. Every time we get together for lunch or coffee, he seems to have a story that no one could possibly make up.
Preparing for his sister’s wedding a few years ago, Mike was clipping his balding head and noticed that his eyebrows were getting a bit shaggy. So, with this thumb on the clippers at level 5 (the highest level), he zipped across the first eyebrow.
Whoops!
As he made the pass, his thumb slipped and the guide notched down to level one! Looking in the mirror, he beheld a one eyebrow man!
Of course, some peach fuzz remained. So, in an attempt to even it out, he buzzed the other eyebrow.
Bad decision.
So, he called his wife, who had gone to the store for some last minute item. Upon her return, she brought hair dye, which they frantically prepared, assuming that it would adhere to the peach fuzz which now crowned both eyes.
Not knowing how to apply this concoction, Mike dipped his two index fingers into the hair dye and hastily drew rounded eyebrows.
“How do I look?” Mike asked his wife.
“Worse.” She handed him a wash cloth and said, “Start scrubbing.”
Worth Repeating
You must never underestimate the power of the eyebrow.
