Which one(s) are you?
This is an interesting English term. Make believe. In my experience, there are three kinds of make believe people.
1. Inspirational. These are the people who make you believe because they overcome adversity, challenges, and less than ideal circumstances. You know them; you might very well be one of them! They laugh, live soulfully, and encourage others even with the limitations of their own plight. They make you believe!
2. Aggressive. Then, there are the ones who do their best to make you believe something they believe. Typically, I find that their intentions are reasonably good and that they generally believe what they are attempting to sell me. But, that’s the problem. I don’t want to be hard sold their beliefs. But, they want to make you believe.
3. Creative. These affable souls live in the world of possibility, creativity, and ideals. Expressive, but not always rooted in reality, they do tend to make life more enjoyable for those around them. With a wink or simply full-on fiction, they make believe.
Perhaps there are more types, but these represent at least three. I suggest that you gravitate towards # 1 and #3!
