Walking past the gardens to the front porch, I am greeted by the Red Cup Rooster. Crowing with enthusiasm, the rooster is a fixture and greeter at this unique coffee shop in Oklahoma City.
Inside, I order an Americano and a yummy dish. You guessed it, my morning beverage comes in no less than…a red cup. The walls are jam packed with local art of all styles infusing the atmosphere with creativity. In each room, conversations rage as viewpoints are explored. Laughter erupts often, and a general sense of welcome-ness pervades the space.
About once a month, I stop in. Sometimes with a friend; sometimes alone. Always, however, I leave with my sense of creativity stoked to new levels.
