Defining Your Values #6
Frustration, defeat and boredom happen. When you enter a difficult season of life, or if you are attempting to slog through a challenging day, you welcome inspiration to nudge you forward.
Inspiration comes in many forms. You may read or hear a message that spurs you on and reminds you of your better thoughts. Or, you may witness another person overcoming adversity, maybe even in a movie or show. A child could ask a question or issue an affirmation that opens your eyes to hope. The manifestations of inspiration are endless.
I really value the messengers and the messages of inspiration that have come my way and that I have intentionally engaged. These serve to reframe my thoughts and convert into renewed action. I have numerous authors, speakers, filmmakers, leaders and friends whom I follow on a regular basis. The express purpose of all of these is not inspiration, but often, the net result contains some degree of life affirmation. Reminders of purpose, mission and action help me do better with my own work in the world.
Hopefully, you read this blog regularly because you know that when you do, there is a very good chance that you will think and feel better. You will receive a nugget of inspiration and encouragement.

Worth Repeating
When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.
