Simplify #1
According to the School of Life, “we crave simplicity not because we are simple, but because we are drowning in complexity.”
Has your world begun to run amuck with noise, complication and excess? Granted, craziness can be exciting for a while. But when what you thought was a sprint of tasks and projects turns out to be a marathon, you must adjust your pace.
The notion of simplicity finds relevance in every area of life. Relationships can become more complex than necessary. Your relation to material stuff can also get of control. In fact, this is one area that many people think of first when seeking simplicity. Garage sales and storage units soon follow. Your work and daily tasks certainly have elements that could be brought into clearer focus. Essentially, every area of life could benefit from an inspection through the lens of simplicity.
For today, consider your inner and outer life. What one area has become unnecessarily complex? Is there one move you could make to begin to simplify?
Worth Repeating
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
-Leonardo Da Vinci
