  1. Breakfast or dinner friends with whom you have shared life, loss and laughter.
  2. Opportunities to travel.
  3. Things you don’t have to do anymore.
  4. Prized possessions.
  5. Help from unlikely sources.
  6. Things you have learned.
  7. Destinations and goals you are still approaching.

Look around. Articulate your own gratitude list. Treasure the people in your life. Maybe even say a silent prayer of thanks for your favorites.
