Easily, my favorite band of the past decade or more has been the Avett Brothers. Their bluegrass-rock-soulful tunes merge with some of the most masterful lyrics I’ve ever heard. Here, they capture the desire for friends who create a safe space for growth.
Frankly, this seems rare. More often, friends tend to get stuck in the same rhythms, conversations and habits. To allow for change and an upward evolution requires grace and work.
