Your Best #3
When you do your best and success comes easily, you may be tempted to think that this is how it will always be. You’ve lived long enough to know different.
Sometimes, you have to push through with tenacity. Summoning your deep wells of persistence, determination and grit, you show up again. Perhaps it means you must reexamine what didn’t work and make improvements. Maybe you hit a barrier such as lack of money, rejection or embarrassment. It could be that what failed was not actually your best or smartest effort. Success will require more.
Now is the time that you will either make excuses or make it happen. What would it take to flip the script? What would it mean to do your best now, in light of this setback? How will you push through?
Worth Repeating
When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.
