Yesterday, I spent some significant time finishing my Intentional Growth Strategy for 2014. This morning, I talked with a good friend about his goals and theme for the new year.
There are many ways to do this. But, I strongly suggest that you write down your goals and create some system for checking in on them regularly. Each year I generate yearly goals in several areas and I keep myself on track with monthly and weekly intentions and records that are all contained in the same binder. Some are achievements and some are more rhythmic in nature, but my system helps me stay on track. (Maybe this will become a future book or workbook!)
Most importantly though, I encourage you to invest some time in the coming days to consider how you plan to experience intentional growth in these areas:
- Spiritual
- Health
- Family
- Financial
- Work/Business
- Giving/Serving
- Adventure/Creativity
Worth Repeating
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
-Henry David Thoreau
