Audacity or nerve in the face of uncertainty
She didn’t know how she would do it.
But, she did it anyway.
Her husband had left and her father had died. Now, she cared for her mother and two elementary aged children. With just less than enough to get by, she kept her day job as a program coordinator.
But her dream still burned.
She wanted more. She knew she could do it. She had been preparing this dream for years. So, she started getting up at 5am every morning. Borrowing snatches of time and energy here and there, she launched her business…
And landed her first client. That first contract relieved the financial tension and led to more new contracts and clients. She had leveraged her expertise well, and soon she had moved into a new life and a new tax bracket. She was living that long-held dream.
She didn’t know how she would do it.
But, she did it anyway.
Worth Repeating
We become ethical by acting ethically, and brave by acting bravely. And we become creative by acting creatively.
