Finding Your Way Through Resistance
Resistance. We all experience it.
I don’t feel like it. I’m afraid of it. I don’t want to do it. So, we resist. In some cases this is not so bad, but when we resist things that are good, it ultimately hurts us.
Here’s a way through the resistance of not wanting to get up. From the bed, from the recliner, from anywhere really.
Get up and get out. That’s it. If you can get up and walk outside onto the porch or patio, you did it. Stand there for a bit. This small act of proactive movement could turn into a walk, a drive, or simply a renewed perspective. But, if all you did is get up and get out, you did something.
Simple, but tough. Try it.
Get up and get out.
Worth Repeating
In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.
