Better Questions #2
Is this habit worth continuing? Is this a good group to be associated with? Is this the right…whatever?
If any part of your life experience gives you pause, ask this question: Does this make me a better person?
Asking and pondering this question could give you the litmus test you’re looking for. You may sense some unrest, that something just isn’t right. Perhaps you know that some component of your life is sub-optimal. Sorting through it often takes time and becomes somewhat convoluted.
Ask this question to cut to the heart of the matter: Does this make me a better person?
Worth Repeating
An arrogant person considers himself perfect. This is the chief harm of arrogance. It interferes with a person’s main task in life – becoming a better person.
