Creating Forward Momentum #2
When you get stuck in any arena of life, you are probably lacking clarity. Fuzziness about who you are, your role in this situation or the next right thing to do has the effect of slowing us down. With clarity, action comes much easier.
Brendon Burchard offers four areas to define in his book, High Performance Habits. You might give these questions some consideration:
1. What words describe your best self? You may think of love, joy or peace. Perhaps hard work, courage or friendly come to mind. Choose your words about you.
2. What words define how you want to treat other people? Encouraging, respectful, empowering? What defines your posture towards others?
3. What skills are you developing in your life right now? What skills do you need to learn?
4. In what simple ways can you add value to those around you this week?
Giving thought to these questions can get you moving from mired down to finding clarity again.
