“Every situation contains opportunities,” states Robert Fulghum.
Often this is hard to see. You become so blinded by the challenges, frustrations and disappointments, that gaining fresh perspective proves difficult.
But you have done this before and you can do this again. You may resonate with some of these scenarios:
- In a sales or fundraising effort, you receive a series of “No’s.” But, you ask one more time or take a different approach, and opportunity appears.
- You are told that it cannot be done, but you insist on executing your vision and that vision finds a way to become reality.
- Even in a grim situation, you crack open the door to allow humor and beauty to enter and change the room.
Every situation contains opportunities. Determine to look hard for them.
