When have you spent too much time thinking? Like brooding, or worrying, or hanging on to a pet concern or delayed decision for way too long?
We’ve all done it. But, I doubt you’ve gone to this extreme.
He finally made the call.
At age 23, he first noticed a bald spot appearing in the crown of his head. He didn’t like it. But, he didn’t want to wear a toupee. So, he wore a cap.
For years. Cowboy hats, ball caps, Sunday hats, all kinds of head cover. He heard about hair plugs and other new treatments, but none seemed like what he wanted to do.
So, he continued to think about it. Debate. Weigh the cost and the options. He researched alternative therapies, but never took action.
Finally, he made the call. At age 93! Seventy years after he first noticed that little bald spot on his head, he called in response to an infomercial of all things!
And he was denied the treatment.
He sat and thought for too long.
Worth Repeating
If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.
-Bruce Lee
